You can’t beat a little intervention from Spirit to bring two people together well just one Spirit actually.

Last year I lost a beautiful friend and colleague, Georgie! Georgie was the therapist I trusted to look after me and we often organised treatment swops to look after each other’s wellbeing who had become a good friend. An encyclopaedic knowledge of essential oils and aromatherapy and an incredible energy healer too. We’d been having dinner at mine just after I’d moved house, a spontaneous invite after she’d dropped round to check the place out as I now lived a mile away. We’d planned surfing in the summer, dancing at a local club thanks to our shared loved of rock and metal and even co-organising some events. Then cancer hit and we all lost a brave, talented, fun-loving, beautiful friend with the dirtiest laugh! The world lost one of its brightest stars.

I didn’t really know Rachel at that point, Georgie had wanted to introduce as but it had never quite happened. After Georgie’s funeral Rachel reached out to me, a fellow therapist with the zany sense of humour that reminds me so much of Georgie. I’m sure Georgie has been pulling all the strings as we connected and Rachel suggested organising a wellbeing event. This was something I have done several times now and it gave me the push I needed so plans were discussed and made. Rachel owns a company called Infinite Flow, and Gaia Flow came into being!

We have chosen to support a local charity, Encompass Southwest, who provides a range of advice, information and support services in communities across the south west of England, with a strong focus on rural/rural remote settlements. With a local office in North Devon, their work focuses on 3 main areas: – 
Homelessness and Rough Sleeping for adults and young people 
Supported Housing
Money & Debt Advice.
